Sacha Rukaber BVMS GPCert ( SAP) CertVA MRCVS - Clinical Director

Sacha Rukaber MRCVS

Sacha grew up in the North East of Scotland, and graduated from The University of Glasgow in 1994. Sacha spent the first 8 years of her career on the Norfolk/Suffolk border in mixed practice, where she gained experience with horses, and a range of farm animals, including pigs and pigmy goats. She developed a special interest in small animal work, including anaesthesia and after the birth of her son in 2001 made the transition to small animal only work.

At the Grove Veterinary Group in Norfolk, Sacha studied for the Certificate of Small Animal Practice, GPCert (SAP) and the RCVS Certificate of Veterinary Anaesthesia (CertVA) while working as a first opinion veterinary surgeon.

In 2009 Sacha relocated with her family to Northamptonshire and took the role of Clinical Director at the Johnston Veterinary Clinic.

Sacha, her long suffering husband, Ivan and son Alex share their home with Basil the Labrador, TC the tailless cat and a range of tropical fish including a giant Plec. She enjoys country walks, family life and a martial art called Kuk Sool Won for which she holds a brown belt.
